The series of break-ins at the properties of professional athletes in the USA continues: As local police confirmed to ABC News, the home of Canadian basketball superstar Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has been broken into. The incident occurred on Thursday evening local time in Nichols Hills, an upscale suburb of Oklahoma City, when Gilgeous-Alexander was playing with his NBA club Oklahoma City Thunder against the Washington Wizards. The MVP of last NBA season contributed 31 points to the 127:108 win.
According to consistent media reports, the suspects were able to escape before the police arrived. According to police, there have been no arrests so far.

The Gilgeous-Alexander incident adds to a series of break-ins involving prominent athletes that have occurred in the United States in recent months.
