In Chambly (Oise), Avrillé (Maine-et-Loire) or L’Aigle (Orne), badminton players from Argentan were present on the courts, Saturday November 1 and Sunday November 2, 2025to defend the colors of their club.
Best doubles results for Bayard Argentan
Alexandre Moulin, Mélina Mortagne et Hugo Baran were enrolled in a national tournament on the side of The Eagle.
The first was entered in singles but due to a tough series, he lost twice in three sets.
In women’s doubles, Mélina Mortagne was eliminated in the quarter-finals. Like Hugo Baran in men’s doubles.
The two Argentan players were then opponents in the mixed doubles table.
The two pairs found themselves in the same group but both managed to enter the final draw. Each on their own, the duos won until they found themselves, once again, in the final. A meeting at the end of which Hugo Baran emerged victorious.
Doublet stopped in quarter-final
In Chambly, in the Oise, Nina Loughi and Marco Marie took part in the Portes de l’Oise tournament in a very beautiful complex specific to badminton.
Engaged only in mixed doubles, the pair had a good start to the tournament but their opponents managed to regain the upper hand. In their second group match, Nina and Marco won against the future winners of the tournamentallowing them to access the final table. Their journey came to a narrow end in the quarter-finals.
Arthur Shanmugarajah in 2nd place
Arthur Shanmugarajah was the only representative of the Ornais club lined up in the Avrillé national tournamentin Maine-et-Loire. Entered in doubles, the young badista from Argentan did not manage to get out of the pools. On the other hand, he was more successful in the men’s singles tournament since he only lost in the final.
