Prague –
Arsenal kept clean sheets in eight consecutive matches in all competitions. This saw the London Cannon equal its 1903 record.
Arsenal visited Slavia Prague’s headquarters at the Fortuna Arena on the fourth matchday of the Champions League, Wednesday (5/11/2025) early morning WIB. The London Cannon won 3-0.
Again, Arsenal didn’t concede. This extends his goalkeeping record to eight consecutive matches.

Arsenal have not conceded since against Olympiakos on October 1 in the Champions League, then continued against West Ham United and Fulham in the Premier League.
Arsenal also didn’t concede against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League, Crystal Palace in the Premier League, Brighton in the Carabao Cup and Burnley in the Premier League last weekend.
That equaled a club record set 122 years ago, from April to October 1903. At that time Woolwich Arsenal did not concede a goal in the last three league games of the 1902/03 season and the first five games of the 1903/04 season.
“It was a long time ago, so it shows how difficult it is to achieve it. Of course there is a lot of work to be done to achieve it, and the most encouraging thing, perhaps, is not the record; it is the mindset of the players,” said manager Mikel Arteta as quoted on Arsenal’s official website.
“They talked about how we could still play better, we saw one or two situations that we could have finished better. So, if we can do that, we can continue to improve and the record will have greater meaning,” Arteta emphasized.
