Ripalta Cremasca, 06 November 2025

(Annalisa Andreini) The sporting journey for the Ripalto archer Paola Natale continues at full speed.

The Swiss Open in Lausanne took place last weekend, a competition organized by the World Archery (international archery federation).

The twenty-five year old archer, during the first stage of the Indoor World Cup in Lausanne, stood out in the Campound and, despite not winning the coveted medal, she still brought home a good result.

She gained access to the first round, finishing fifth with 581 points in an all-Italian ranking (five out of six archers).

In the second elimination round she beat the Maltese Marianne Buttigieg 144-138 but then unfortunately she was stopped in the quarter-finals, beaten 143-147 by the Italian Francesca Aloisi, who earned the gold medal by beating her compatriot Elisa Roner by just one point (147-146).

Today, Thursday, the young archer Paola Natale will leave for the King of Archery in Eindhoven, in the Netherlands, while next week it will be the turn of Strassen, in Luxembourg, for the second European stage of the Indoor World Series.
