Option 1: Enric Llansana. The Dutchman could find a place as sentry (‘6’). His aggressiveness in duels, his recovery and his calm when restarting are valuable assets in the face of the physical power of the union.
Option 2: Mario Stroeykens. Full of confidence after his contract extension, Super Mario is the ideal candidate to boost the offensive game.
Option 3: Yari Verschaeren. More technical but less physical, Verschaeren could support Hazard in the creative areas. Faced with the expected impact in the middle, however, he seems less suited to replacing Saliba position for position.
A decisive choice
saliba’s suspension is a real test for Hasi. Finding the right balance between defensive solidity and offensive audacity will be crucial to hope to transform the series of nine points out of nine into a perfect twelve out of twelve.
