The Thanninger theater group is playing again: November 15th is the premiere of the comedy “To the Devil with Hell”. Six game dates are planned.
Egling – The theater group of the traditional costume association D’Wendlstoana Thanning brings the play “To the Devil with Hell” by Monika Grabmüller to the stage. The premiere of the comedy in three acts will take place on Saturday, November 15th. Advance ticket sales have already begun, as the club reports.

The plot: After an argument with his wife, Max Standlmeier junior (played by Konrad Huber) suffers a heart attack – and is not only literally taken away by the devil. But Max is lucky. “Now that the global economic crisis has apparently reached heaven, he has another chance,” as the announcement says.
Unfortunately, making amends for mistakes made doesn’t really work. But this is only partly due to Luigi, son of the devil, (played by Maximilian Bock) and Gabriele, an executive assistant from heaven, (played by Magdalena Strobl), who are keeping an eye on him.
Appointments and ticket reservations
The following performance dates are planned in the ECT clubhouse at the Thanning sports field: Saturday (November 15th) 8 p.m., Sunday (November 16th) 2 and 7 p.m., Wednesday (November 19th) 8 p.m., Friday (November 21st) 8 p.m., Saturday (November 22nd) 8 p.m.
Admission tickets (12 euros) can be reserved as follows: by telephone every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on 08176/550 or 08176/997272 and by email to [email protected] (state last name, first name, telephone number, performance date and number of tickets). Admission 1.5 hours before the start.

“Viewers can look forward to hours of fun during the six performances of the comedy,” the club advertises. The group around theater director Maximilian Liebhart has a long tradition. In 1920, “the first amateur performance group of the traditional costume club was on the boards,” as can be read on the club’s website. More than 100 pieces have been performed since then – 115 to be exact.

In addition to Max, who is plagued by a heart attack and his wife, the devil’s son and the heavenly assistant, Barbara Bernlochner also appears this year as the wife Agnes Standlmeier, Anna Herzinger as the daughter and Peter Aichler as the Standlmeiers’ brother. Paul Miller takes on the role of the demented father Max Standlmeier senior, “and causes a lot of confusion,” said the group. Charly, played by Andreas Bernlochner, is involved as an acquaintance of Agnes. Benedikt Loipolder embodies death “in the devilishly good piece”.
