Super League Referee Betting Scandal Revealed

TFF referred 152 referees who were found to be betting to PFDK. Among the referees who were referred to discipline were Egemen Artun, Mehmet Ali Özer, Melih Kurt, Muhammed Selim Özbek, Seyfettin Alper Yılmaz, Yunus Dursun and Zorbay Küçük from the upper class.

Journalist Umut Eken, writer of Fanatik newspaper, stated that the 7 top-class referees who were referred to discipline “bet on almost every league in the world” and published the “breakdown of the matches on which these referees bet in the Super League”. The list shared by Eken covers the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 seasons.
