They don’t raise their heads! Liverpool, the team that spent the most money in the transfer market, continues to disappoint in the Premier League after 9 days played.
This Saturday they fell again 3-2, for the fourth consecutive time, against Brentford on matchday 9 and suffered a hard blow in the standings.
The locals got the three points thanks to goals from Ouattara (5′), Kevin Schade (45′) and Igor Thiago (60′ pen). For the Reds, Milos Kerkez scored at the end of the first half and Mohamed Salah in the 88th minute.
With this result, Liverpool leaves the Champions League zone and falls to sixth place with 15 points, which it achieved in the first five rounds and has only fallen since then.
While Brentford rose to tenth place with 13 points and remains in the fight to be in Europe.

One of the big surprises in the top 3 of the Premier League is the newly promoted team, Sunderland. Who beat Chelsea at home today and slipped into second position with 17 points, two less than Arsenal who play tomorrow against Crystal Palace.
In third place is Manchester City with 16 points, the same as Manchester United, a team that is still going strong and has won three games in a row.
