Padel Club Paris: Largest Complex North of Paris

Julien Seurin and the cream of the French padel came a few weeks ago to the Padel Family Club in Brebières. The opportunity to discover the largest complex in the region, open since August 11.

It has already been several weeks since Aurélien Warmoes inaugurated the Padel Family Clubthe largest padel complex north of Paris, in the Horizon 2000 industrial zone. With 11 padel courts and 2 badminton courts, this 5,000 m2 center2 got off to a flying start.

On October 3 the club hosted its first exhibition matches.

Stars of the industry in Brebières

For the occasion, Julien Seurin, 5e French player, was present alongside three other members of the national top 100. A lovely evening which continued in the clubhouse in a friendly atmosphere. Visitors were able to discover much-awaited equipment in Douaisis. “It’s good to have this here. Before, you had to go to Lille or Liévin to find facilities of this level. And the prices are attractive: count on €10.50 per session”underlines Florian Follet, already a regular here.

The complex is also distinguished by an original infrastructure: the so-called “single” court allowing one-on-one play, while padel is traditionally played in doubles. Less than 4 meters wide, but the same length, this format is already attracting local enthusiasts. “It’s much more cardio than double and above all, it’s less difficult to find playing partners”explains Florian.

To facilitate team compositions, the company has set up the Padel Family Club application, as well as a WhatsApp group which already brings together nearly 300 players. Padel is experiencing a real boom in France. The number of courses and practitioners is exploding (+88% licenses in 2024) and clubs are multiplying all over France.

Initiatives like that of Aurélien Warmoes or the town hall of Sin-le-Noble with the Mercier complex confirm that Douaisis intends to take part in this national dynamic.
