With regional league team Kickers Offenbach, you currently want to hide everything negative. The already tense personnel situation is getting worse.

In an English week, as a trainer you don’t have many ways to influence your team. Especially not when the personnel situation is as tense as with Kickers Offenbach. And so it was Kristjan Glibo “in the short of time”, especially important to “give positiveity” to his players. That alone is a big challenge in which the soccer regional league is currently located.

Breitenbach and ünlücifci fail

“Our situation is not easy,” says Glibo. This is benevolently formulated. Because the staff in particular will not change at short notice, you have to “adapt”, demands the coach, and “Wait for the players week after week”. But this should not deal with the available actors before the game on the two points of worse TSG Balingen (Saturday, 2 p.m.). The fact that the OFC after Fulda’s victory on Friday in Alzenau for the first time is on a potential relegation zone does not make things easier. “It’s about the focus,” emphasizes Glibo. As a player, he focused on his task in such situations. “It’s about looking at yourself, calling the content and helping each other on the pitch.”

Most recently, this was only partially successful at home against Fulda. Although the OFC did not lead undeservedly at the break, but then took a look at an opponent and in the end it was also thanks to a portion of luck and a strong goalkeeper Johannes Brinkies that it was 1-1. Interims sports director Hans-Jürgen Boysen also saw positive things, pointed out that the Kickers got three corners in the final phase of the game and had the last big chance of the game. “You realized that the boys defend themselves and tried to turn the game,” he said. But that is difficult given the personnel situation. This will possibly continue to worsen against Balingen.

To Marc Wachs (tendon injury) and Daniel Dejanovic (cruciate ligament), who once formed the heart in midfield, but will probably only be available after the winter break, Jayson Breitenbach and Onur ünlicifci (both cold) are also joining them. The duo had already went into the game against Fulda. Vincent Moreno and Boubacar Barry were missing in the duel with the East Hesse. Whether they are available in Balingen will decide at short notice. Jona Borsum (yellow lock) is definitely missing.

You get a passable first team together. But what happens if the strength does not yet end the strength after long breaks after longer injury breaks? Maximilian Rossmann had last held around 60 minutes since his Achilles tendon tear, Luca Startwagen 70 and Ron Berlinski 80. The problem: the substitute players were not a real replacement recently. Sometimes actors who apparently do not trust to help the team were sitting on the bank. In any case, the coach had not exhausted his exchange quota against Fulda. In the meantime, Stephan Mensah and Jelle Goselink were only used in the reserve. Center defender Noel Knothe has played little so far and cut a bad figure in his two 90-minute missions. It is quite possible that he will get a new chance in Balingen. Maybe as a six. There is greatest shortage of staff.

Opponents often defend one against one

Opponents Balingen recently came to a 4: 4 at SC Freiburg II. “They want to solve a lot in a playful way, sometimes defend one against one over the entire place. This is very brave,” says Glibo. His team had to look for the direct duels and then use the chances. Sounds just when you see it positively. ((Christian Düncher)
