This Tuesday, Naples won against Lecce on the 9th day of the championship.
Naples suffered in Lecce, but secured the essentials by winning 1-0 on Tuesday to increase their lead at the top of the Italian Championship to three points.
Three days after giving Inter Milan a lesson (3-1), Napoli was not as convincing at the opening of the 9th day of Serie A. Deprived of Kevin De Bruyne for the next three months, the reigning Italian champion won with a headed goal from Andre-Frank Anguissa (69th).

Antonio Conte can also thank his goalkeeper Vanja Milinkovic-Savic who deflected a penalty from the great Italian hope, loaned to Lecce by AC Milan, Francesco Camarda (56th). “It’s always difficult to come to Lecce, my team showed composure and intelligence”analyzed Conte on the DAZN platform. “We are deprived of important players, like De Bruyne, (Romelu) Lukaku, (Alex) Meret, it makes me laugh when I heard that we had recruited too much this summer”blurted the Italian technician, visibly annoyed.
Another draw for Milan
Naples is assured of remaining in the lead with its 21 points. Better still, one of its pursuers, AC Milan, again let points slip away. Everything started well for Massimiliano Allegri’s team with Samuele Ricci opening the scoring in the 4th minute.
But Milan, still without Adrien Rabiot and Christian Pulisic, was put to sleep by Atalanta. There «Dea» logically equalized thanks to Ademola Lookman (35th) and could have won on a shot from Davide Zappacosta (85th), without a spectacular save from Mike Maignan.
After this third draw in four matches, the Rossoneri are still 3rd (18 pts), but are now three points behind Naples. Atalanta, suffering draws (7 in nine matches!), remains 7th (13 pts).
On Wednesday, AS Rome (2nd, 18 points) faces Parma (15th, 7 pts), Inter (4th, 15 pts) can get back on track against Fiorentina (18th 4 pts), while Juventus Turin (8th, 12 pts) which dismissed Igor Tudor on Monday, hosts Udinese (9th, 12 pts) with an interim coach, before the possible arrival of Luciano Spalletti, ex-Naples coach and Italy coach.
