Marselin Ferdinan was confirmed to be on the list of Indonesian U-23 national team squad at the 2025 SEA Games. This was conveyed directly by the Indonesian U-23 national team coach for the 2025 SEA Games, Indra Sjafri.
At present, the name Marselino Ferdinan is not in the list of 32 Indonesian U-23 national team players who were called to undergo the first phase of training camp ahead of the 2025 SEA Games. Indra said that Marselino was not not called, but only had not been called.
1. Situation of Marselino Ferdinan is a question mark
Many public wondered with the situation of Marselino. The reason, the Trench US player surprisingly did not enter the Indonesian national team squad in the fourth round of the 2026 Asian World Cup qualifiers. There is news, that the player enters the 2025 SEA Games squad.
But, the name Marselino is also not in the list of 32 players called Indra Sjafri to undergo TC Indonesian U-23 national team. In fact, there are several other potential players who enter the Garuda squad, such as Rafael Struick, Ivar Jenner, and Adrian Wibowo.
2. Not yet called
As coach, Indra Sjafri said that Marselino was actually called to the Indonesian U-23 national team. Even he said, his name was on the list of players for the 2025 SEA Games.
“Not yet called, not not called, but he entered into the 50 players we registered,” Indra Sjafri said at the Madya Stadium on Friday 3 October 2025.
“And we are open 50 players who are registered can also be asked to Kekekjenan, we open to be given,” he continued.
