The 2024/2025 season has been a breakout year for Lusitano de Évora, and their impressive performance has earned them a prestigious honor. The club was recognized and celebrated at the inaugural “Portugal Football Globes” event, hosted by the Portuguese Football Federation at the iconic Cidade do Futebol.
This recognition comes on the heels of a stellar season for the Alentejo-based squad. Lusitano de Évora clinched the Portuguese Championship last season, a victory that secured their promotion to League 3. Currently, they’re holding their own in seventh place in Group B of the competitive League 3. Their cup run was also noteworthy, as they battled their way to the Round of 16 in the Portuguese Cup, ultimately falling 2-1 to the formidable SC Braga. It’s a testament to their grit and skill, proving they can compete at higher levels.
Representing Lusitano de Évora at this esteemed event were club president Pedro Caldeira and Vice-President Nuno Croino, who proudly accepted the accolades on behalf of the team and its dedicated supporters.
