KGS Students: Free Tennis Training & Sports Joy

New cooperation – KGS Sehnde relies on tennis with TVE

At the start of the 2025/26 school year, the Sehnde Cooperative Comprehensive School launched a new sports cooperation. Together with the tennis division of the Eintracht Sehnde gymnastics club (TVE), students can now play tennis and beach tennis regularly – and completely free of charge.

Exercise in the open air – thanks to the support association

This is made possible by close collaboration between TVE division manager Pia Gellermann, tennis coach Müge Neureuther from DTV and KGS teachers Lea Gregor and Tobias Falk.
The KGS support association is covering all costs this year, so that the TVE sports areas can be used without fees.

“Playing tennis is fun for all ages and at the same time promotes the health of our children,” emphasizes Tobias Falk, teacher and year 10 representative. Many students have already enthusiastically accepted the new offer.

Commitment that moves – call for participation

Jens Reimann, deputy chairman of the support association, emphasizes the importance of voluntary work. “As a support association of KGS Sehnde, we are only as strong as our members and supporters. You can also help us to continue to support our school.”

General meeting announced – all interested parties welcome

As part of the new cooperation, the support association also invited people to a public general meeting.
This took place on Monday, October 6th in the KGS Sehnde.
There, information was provided about current projects and new ideas for the club’s work were collected.
