In this context, it was essential to find an experience replacement. The choice fell on a French basketball monument: Charles Kahudi (1m97).
At 39, the international winger is a real benchmark for Betclic Elite. In 21 seasons at the highest level, he built an impressive track record: 4 titles of champion of France, 2 French cups, 2 Cup leaders and no less than 6 selections at the All Star Game. His journey with the French team is just as rich: bronze medal at the 2014 World Cup, 3 podiums at the Euro, including the coronation of 2013.
Trained in Cholet, then revealed in Pro B with Évreux, it was in the first division that he really exploded … in Dijon! After this first full season, Charles won at Le Mans for 6 years before joining LDLC Asvel in 2015. Ten seasons later, and after having marked the history of the Villeurbannais club, he returned to Burgundy, where his ascent had started.
