Hamilton grateful for sympathy after the death of dog roscoe
Lewis Hamilton fights with emotions after the loss of Bulldogge Rosco – and feels the backing of fans and colleagues. What that means for him before the Formula 1 race in Singapore.
Formula 1 star Lewis Hamilton overwhelmed the sympathy after the death of his beloved dog Rosco. “It is heartwarming when you see how many people in the world touched Rosco,” said the 40-year-old after his arrival in the Singapore pad. The Bulldog died after a cardiac arrest and a day arrested coma on the weekend before the night grand prix.
“Many people in the world went through something like that and know what it is like to have a pet that gives you so much love, that’s a great experience,” said Hamilton. Rosco has accompanied Hamilton since 2013. He quickly became a star in the paddock. The British magazine “Vogue” Hamilton and Rosco recently dedicated a longer contribution. “I lost my best friend,” Hamilton wrote after the dog’s death.
Hope for turning results in Singapore
The Ferrari pilot reported that he received a lot of news from other drivers, the Formula 1 team, the FIA World Association and the leadership of the racing series. “It was really overwhelming and really very welcome,” said the British. However, he is now looking forward to getting back into the car.
He wouldn’t dedicate a good result to the race in Singapore alone, Hamilton said. “There are many people who earn a good result from me and this team. The Tifosi and all the people who inquired with me and supported me all year round, but above all in the last week,” said the seven -time world champion.
Since moving to Ferrari before this season, Hamilton has been waiting for his first podium in a Grand Prix.
