Without coach Felipe Canavan, suspended for a third yellow card, assistant Philipe Saboya leads the team against ninth-placed teams, who have nine points and are yet to draw.

The opponent also has the best defense in the competition, leaked only five times, as in the 1-0 defeat to Nova Iguaçu, away from home, on the 12th.

Tricolor also has the absence of midfielder Fabinho, who was sent off against Volta Redonda. Also midfielders Artur Vinícius, Henrique and Victor Kauan, midfielder Agner and striker Isac Martins are in the medical department.

Midfielder Riquelmy Tavares and striker Keven Samuel, recovered from injuries, return to the team. Another new addition is defender Rodrigo Bringel, listed for the first time since returning to the club. The Wallace Davi steering wheel is now hanging.
