From December 18, 2025 to January 2, 2026, Royal Jaarbeurs will be the setting for the largest indoor pickleball location in Europe. With 16 professional courts and four virtual fields, this temporary sports location offers plenty of space for both recreational and competitive players. Pickleball, a mix of tennis, badminton and table tennis, is the fastest growing racket sport worldwide, is rapidly conquering Europe and has a chance of a place in the Olympic Games. Sport and society come together at the temporary pickleball location in Jaarbeurs. Sport acquires a social dimension through activations with Utrecht sports clubs, Sportfonds Utrecht and social partners such as KWF, the Veterans Institute, the Brain Foundation and the Princess Máxima Center.
