Coupang launches a fan shop and presents goods from 25 NBA teams. Products from popular franchise teams where NBA stars play, such as the Golden State Warriors and LA Lakers, are included.
Items for sale range from clothing such as club jerseys, sweatshirts, and hoodies to basketballs and hats from Mitchell & Ness, an American sports league apparel brand. Goods from legendary NBA stars such as Tim Duncan, Shaquille O’Neal, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar are also included.
You can also find casual clothing and kids lines produced by Hansae MK, the NBA’s official partner, and the products sold are expected to expand in the future.
The launch of this fan shop is an extension of the multifaceted partnership that Coupang signed with the NBA last June. Following the exclusive domestic live broadcast through Coupang Play, the company expanded into the commerce area so that fans can quickly and conveniently purchase the official goods they want.
The two companies will continue to collaborate across content and commerce so that fans can enjoy the NBA in a more vivid and diverse way.
A Coupang official said, “This official MD sale was carried out in conjunction with Coupang Play’s exclusive domestic NBA live broadcast,” and added, “‘Sports Pass’ subscribers can watch all NBA content, including highlights and game replays, without restrictions.”
