On the occasion of Pink October, the Judo Club Capdenacois offers for the first time a solidarity animation open to all. The meeting is set at the municipal dojo, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., for a special taïso session, “in good humor and for a good cause”, specifies the club’s office. Participation is set at € 5, fully donated to the fight against cancer. Dress code: pink. Taïso, which means “preparation of the body” in Japanese, is a practice from judo and martial arts. Originally, it served as warm -up and reinforcement for judokas. Today, it has become a full -fledged fitness sport, accessible to everyone, without the need to have practiced a martial art before. “The exercises combine muscle strengthening, cardio, balance work, softening and breathing,” explains Isabelle Meyniel, experienced club coach, which will frame the session. President Vincent Pancou recalls the meaning of this initiative: “It is a great opportunity to discover this practice, while participating in a collective solidarity movement. We hope to see the Dojo filling in participants dressed in rose.”
