Beretti Memorial Archery: Brianza Medal Success

The indoor archery season kicked off with a bang in Cucciago, Italy, as the Beretti Memorial drew 119 competitors to the municipal gym. This event, organized by the Archery shooting section of Polisportiva Cucciago ’80, marked the start of competitive indoor archery for many.

Several clubs showcased their talent, with Polisportiva Besanese archers earning individual medals in the Olympic division. Simone Caleffi secured a bronze in the Senior category, while Maria Carla Corti took home gold in the Master division. The masters team also added a bronze to their tally, with Andrea Mandelli, Adelio Riboldi, and Roberto Tuci forming the medal-winning squad.

Arcieri Del Sole Compagnia of Solaro also had a strong showing. Francesco Tosi claimed a silver medal in the Senior Olympic division. In the compound bow category, Andrea Beraldo earned a bronze. The barebow division saw significant success for Solaro, with Luigi Moreschi winning gold, Adriano Fabbian taking silver, and Cinzia Luldi Brovelli and Emiliano Jun sharing bronze. The men’s barebow team, featuring Moreschi, Fabbian, and Juni, clinched gold, while the women’s team secured silver with C.Lualdi, Stefania Pignalosa, and Jessica Gallinaro.

Archery Showdown: Besanese Polisportiva, Arcieri del Sole, Compagnia di Monza and brianza, and Bosco delle Querce Shine

The Compagnia di Monza and Brianza archers proved to be formidable contenders. In the Olympic division, Masters archers Simone Canzi and Massimo Marenghi earned gold and bronze, respectively. The student category saw Andrea Belotti win gold and Francesco Vitale take silver. Young samuele Casagrande also impressed with a gold medal. In the barebow division, Roberto Pancot secured a gold medal in the Senior category. The women’s team also celebrated a gold medal, with alessia Passoni and Daniela Sangiorgio contributing, alongside Elena Intenti. The men’s teams from Monza also dominated the Olympic division, with the Senior team (Ponti, Brunello, Benedetti) and the Master team (Canzi, Marenghi, Parravicini) both capturing gold medals.

Adding to the extraordinary performances, Eric Esposito of Bosco delle Querce-Seveso achieved a third-place finish in the Senior barebow category at the Italian Country Shooting Championships held in Città della Pieve.
