In just the club’s second-ever campaign in the Bundesliga II, the young forward scored 18 goals and recorded seven assists, nearly propelling Elversberg to a historic promotion.
Asllani is a formidable unit physically, but combines it with remarkable technical ability and sniper-like finishing, forming a terrific partnership with TSG legend Andrej Kramaric.
Bayern directors Max Eberl and Christoph Freund are impressed by the forward’s development and profile.
They have already been informed about his release clause, which becomes valid next summer.
Asllani’s stellar form has also attracted interest from Barcelona. The Catalan giants are seeking a long-term successor to Robert Lewandowski and have been considering the 23-year-old.
