Badminton at the Foyer Rural: Leisure & Community

Since the start of the season, the Foyer rural has offered a new weekly activity around badminton, open to everyone from the age of 10. Every Wednesday, at the Michel-Galabru room, young people train from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., followed by adults from 16 years old until 8 p.m. Supervised by Florent Depoorter, volunteer facilitator, the practice is intended to be accessible, without a spirit of competition. With around twenty participants, the initiative has been a great success, particularly among adults. The relaxed atmosphere encourages the discovery or resumption of physical activity, whatever the level. Friendly meetings are also planned outdoors or at home. However, limits are already emerging. The village hall does not offer ideal conditions: floor unsuitable for sports and absence of floor markings. Despite these constraints, the enthusiasm is real.

Annual price: €55 (€15 for membership to the Foyer, €40 for the activity). Registration on 06 87 26 40 68 or [email protected]
