San Pietro Vernotico Archers Hit the Mark at Regional Championships

San Pietro Vernotico, Italy – The picturesque moat of Barletta Castle provided a stunning backdrop last Sunday, september 21st, as archers from the Asd Arcieri Amici di Reno club showcased their skills at the regional championships for the “Targa” specialty. This challenging discipline, set on an outdoor course with targets up to 70 meters away, tested the precision and focus of athletes vying for regional glory.

The “Targa” specialty, known for its engaging format, features 24 shooting positions where archers aim at metal plates. The scores accumulated over these positions determined the rankings, leading to an exciting final round on eight pitches where direct elimination duels decided the medalists.

* Sara Levante: Junior Women’s Nude Bow
* Alessandra Massari: Female Boys’ Nude Bow
* Lorenzo Talò: Men’s Boys’ Olympic Arch
