FOLLOWING three racers are confirmed to be absent from the 2025 Australian MotoGP and the 2025 Malaysian MotoGP. One of them was due to suffering an injury at the Mandalika International Circuit, Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).
The 2025 Australian MotoGP will be held at the Phillip Island Circuit, Ventnor, on 17-19 October. A week later, it was the turn of the 2025 Malaysian MotoGP to be held at the Sepang International Circuit, Selangor.

1. Marc Marquez

The 2025 MotoGP world champion suffered an injury to his collarbone after falling at the 2025 Mandalika GP. Marquez decided to take a complete break in order to return before the end of this season.
By missing Australia and Malaysia, he has at least a month’s gap to return to the racing track. The 21st MotoGP 2025 series will be held at the Algarve International Circuit, Portimao, Portugal, on 7-9 November.
