Walking Football Exchange: Bunkyo Ward – Nov 8th | JFA

On Saturday, November 8th, the Japan Football Association (JFA) will be holding a “City Office Exchange Festival” as part of the “JFA x Bunkyo Dream Project” at Koishikawa Sports Field (Bunkyo Ward, Tokyo).

This event is a walking football event aimed at companies and organizations with offices within Bunkyo Ward, and will be held as an independent project by the Bunkyo Ward Sports Promotion Joint Enterprise

in which JFA will participate.

This is a walking football tournament with no five-person goalkeeper (JFA recommended rules), but it is not about competing for victory or loss, and the purpose is to stimulate communication between employees and broaden the circle of interaction between different industries through walking football, which anyone can enjoy regardless of gender, age, or whether or not they have soccer experience. On the day, former members of Nadeshiko Japan (Japan Women’s Team) Sakaguchi Yumeho and Miyama Aya will also be featured as guests, as well as former members of the Japanese national team (when they will be announced as soon as they are decided), and they will enjoy walking football with all the participants.
