The Women’s Barça writes a new chapter in its history. This time, thanks to the individual talent of Vicky López, first winner of Female Kopa Trophy. For the first time, France Football magazine has decided to award this award to a young female talent. If the male team is dominated by the precocity of FC Barcelona, with four winners in seven editions, Vicky López poses the first stone of Barça in women. From the reserve team to the first team
Vicky López is another good example of the development of football at FC Barcelona. Arrived at Barça in the summer of 2022, her work has already borne fruit: she has become the youngest player in the history of the club, at 16, a month and 19 days.
The Madrid midfielder has progressed to become a key element in the workforce of Pere Romeu. In the 2024/25 season, she played 37 games, including 21 as a holder, with the first team: 25 in Liga, three in the Queen’s Cup, eight in the Champions League and one in Spanish Supercoupe.
