United aims to acquire the “New Mohamed Salah”
New reports show Manchester United are considering a £400,000 transfer against one of the best players in the Premier League, with rumors about his future continuing to flutter.
The club is “working hard” to generate revenue to meet profit and sustainability rules, so it’s unclear whether this month will be a busy month for United unless some players are transferred.
Earlier this week, it was reported that academy players Coby Maineu and Alejandro Garnacho could be sold to meet the rules, as the development players would benefit 100%.
Meanwhile, United have been rumored to have many players transferred over the past few weeks, including Victor Joqueres, Nuno Mendes and Svere Nipan, with many top European clubs showing interest in them.

A new name has just appeared in the scene. It’s Brentford striker Brian Mbuemo. He had a great season with Thomas Frank’s team, scoring 13 goals and three assists in the Premier League.
According to the Stars, manager Ruben Amorin is a “big fan” of the strong striker. In fact, the Portuguese commander appreciates Mbuemo’s versatility and hard work in the three-back formation.
He also believes Mbuemo will fit his long-term plans and is closely watching him ahead of the summer transfer period, with a £400,000 transfer option under discussion.
As mentioned above, United is expected to not make any major moves in January, but the club is “prepared to wait” for manager Amorin to move towards signing Mbuemo until the end of the season, with a larger transfer budget.
Reports say it would be difficult for a Cameroonian to turn down a move to United.
Earlier this month, Brentford manager Thomas Frank sent a strong message about the player’s future as it was reported that Arsenal, Liverpool and Newcastle could sign Mbuemo in January.
“January? I wish you good luck,” he said. “I love Brian. He’s going to continue playing here. He’s had a great season so nothing’s going to happen.”
Former Chelsea and Spurs defender Jason Kandi believes Mbuemo will be his perfect replacement if Mohamed Salah decides to leave Liverpool in the summer.
“When I think about what Salah will do in Liverpool, I’m focusing on Mbuemo. What can he do,” coach Kandi told Talk Sports. “He’s a mini-salah on the right side. (He cuts in with his left foot)” / Gazeta Express/
