The Riyadh Air Metropolitano stadium has been chosen as the headquarters to house the UEFA Champions League final of 2027. This is Its second final of the maximum European club competition in less than a decade, after the previous one that took place in 2019 faced two English teams: Tottenham against Liverpool.
The UEFA Executive Committee has appointed Riyadh Air Metropolitano To host the decisive game of the Champions League in its 2026/27 edition, thus taking the witness of the Puskás Aréna de Budapest.
Ten years after its inauguration in September 2017, the Madrid stadium hosts a final of the maximum European competition. In this way the enclosure is consolidated at the level of other iconic stages such as the new Wembley, the Stade de France or the Allianz Arena.
After the exciting end of 2019, in which Liverpool beat Tottenham 2-0, the stadium will witness the duel between two great teams consolidating the home of Atlético de Madrid as a worldwide reference institution.
