Victims of the US sexual criminal Jeffrey Epstein called Trump to disclose all files. After years of covering up the case, the president finally had to create justice, a group of women demanded in front of the Capitol in Washington on Wednesday. With their appearance, the women supported an initiative of the congress to publish the Epstein files, which the White House had previously criticized as “hostile”. Among other things, the advance comes from Democrat MPs such as Thomas Massie. But three Republicans have also joined.

In this case, Trump has come under pressure in his own warehouse because his government did not bring light into the scandal as announced. Justice Minister Pam Bondi had initially spoke of a list of prominent “customers” of Epstein, but suddenly contested their existence in early July. In order to calm down the subsequent turmoil of the Trump supporters, the Ministry of Justice transmitted more than 33,000 pages with documents that a committee of the US House of Representatives has now published. Critics complain, there is little new. Epstein was found in his prison cell in New York in 2019.
