This year, at 18, Pitchamon is considered a promising Thai badminton player. It is currently classified 49th in the world and 43rd in the World Tour ranking.

In the afternoon of September 7 (Vietnam time), Pitchamon participated in the final match of the Baoji China Masters 2025 badminton tournament, facing his Chinese opponent Zhang Xin Yeng.

He is not a strong Chinese player, but he is also one of the most promising badminton players on the continent and arouses great expectations when he contributes to his national soil.

Pitchamon took the advantage with a 21-16 victory in the first game, before being tied with an 18-21 defeat in the second. But in the third match, Pitchamon showed exceptional courage and crushed his opponent on the score of 21-7.

This victory earned Pitchamon his second title of the BWF World Tour of his career, which promises to help him improve his world ranking.

In addition, Pitchamon made the world of badminton even more enthusiastic by beating a series of Chinese players on their field.

More specifically, in the sixties, Pitchamon beat Jia Zhi Fan on the score of 21-13, 21-13. In the round of 16, she beat her local opponent, Yin Yi Qing, on the score of 18-21, 21-8, 21-17.

These impressive victories have earned Pitchamon special attention from the world badminton community. At only 18, she promises to explode even stronger in the years to come.

Pitchamon caused a sensation by winning the Malaysia Masters 2023 at the age of 16. It was the first BWF World Tour of Pitchamon title in his career.

Before that, Pitchamon had caused a sensation by being part of the powerful Thai women’s female team participating in the Southeast Asian Games in 2021 (which however took place in 2022 due to the Cavid-19 pandemic).
