Reflecting on the season so far, Vural pointed out the challenging start: We lost 5 or 6 of the 7 matches we played, and we had one draw. Last season, I remember the championship with 74 points, 61 points for the playoffs, and 48 points for the cluster. We still have 31 matches ahead, so 93 points are still achievable.
He attributed some of the team’s struggles to the significant squad turnover, noting, Last year, we couldn’t maintain our staff; about 25 new players were transferred. So, what we need the most is time. But professional football doesn’t wait; we will try to shorten this time with hard work.
Looking ahead,vural identified upcoming fixtures as critical for Sarıyer’s resurgence. This week, we will play Demirspor.
