In the European Championship Finals, 24 teams in four groups play in Riga, Tampere, Katowice and Limassol at the end of August and early September. The top four teams will qualify for the playoffs in Riga, finding out the medal winners in the first half of September. Groups A and B as well as Groups C and D will meet in the semifinals.
