The Japan Basketball Association announced that a regular council meeting was held in Tokyo on September 27th, and that after the new executives were elected, the new chairman and the new vice-president have been decided at the special board meeting.

Shimada Shinji, who serves as the chairman of the B League, was appointed as the new president, and was appointed as the same person. Tada Akihiro, who serves as an advisor to the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, was chosen as the vice-president.
