Esther Sedlaczek reports back after a short baby break. The moderator is back on the sidelines together with Bastian Schweinsteiger together with Bastian Schweinsteiger – the mutual teasing will start again immediately.

Esther Sedlaczek gives her TV comeback for the playing the German national team in the World Cup qualification against Slovakia ARD. The well -known moderator is back in front of the camera for the first time since the birth of her third child.
And it was cheerful with a crowd: “Yes, who is back with his coat?”, Expert Bastian Schweinsteiger said about the comeback of his TV partner (he really said “his”). Sedlaczek smiled and said that at about 27 degrees she was a bit warm in the coat.
Another curious moment occurred later when Schweinsteiger and Sedlaczek reported from the player tunnel – and Sedlaczek was astonished that the DFB stars were so concentrated that they did not seem to notice Schweinsteiger.
“What should I do, take off here?” Schweinsteiger then joked. Sedlaczek’s dry answer: “Take off? No, please don’t.”

Sedlaczek only gave birth to a son in July. In 2019 she also welcomed a daughter, in 2021 her first son. The 39-year-old has been married to a Munich businessman for several years.
By the way: In one of the last joint appearances, Schweinsteiger announced the baby news around Sedlaczek, so to speak.
During an interview with Ermedin Demirović at the cup quarter-finals between Stuttgart and Augsburg, Sedlaczek said about the VfB player: “He has just become dad.”
Schweinsteiger then looked at his colleague’s already architating belly, whereupon she explained: “It takes a little bit for me, Basti.”
