Last night a festive football evening in the cage stadium was marred by an incident immediately after the change of Willem II player Samuel Bamba. When leaving the playing field, he was racistly treated by a few individuals and it can speak for himself that we strongly reject this as a club. Such behavior does not fit with SC Cambuur, on the contrary even, and should not have any place within football and society in general.
The incident is currently being investigated further and where perpetrators can be detected, appropriate measures will follow.
