Also at badminton, it’s back to school time. At the start of the school year, the bitists return to the field. If the Departmental Committee organized training courses this summer to prepare for the season, make way for clubs to take over on the sports year that is promising. In the department, ten clubs organize themselves, including three, in Rodez, Olemps and the monastery, to offer training and free play slots for young people and adults.
“This month of recovery is an ideal opportunity for the most motivated to join an interclub championship team”invites the departmental committee. Until October 5, registrations are open. The bidĂ©partemental interclubs, bringing together the clubs of Aveyron and Lozère, will take place on five or six days and will bring together players of five divisions, from departmental 1 to departmental 5.
At the regional level, the Ruthenian clubs are in the spotlight. Olemps 1 and Rodez 2 will play in Regional 2. The 1 and Rodez 1 monastery in Regional 1. The local competition season will start with the tournaments of Capdenac-Gare (October 25 and 26) and Olemps (November 1 and 2), followed closely by the launch of Intergenre tournaments, a novelty. For the youngest, the departmental circuit is renewed with a series of local tournaments intended for competitors under the age of 18. The circuit will open on a first stage on Sunday October 16 at the monastery.
