Dogan Alemdar is expected to leave Stade Rennais to return to Turkey, but, while heading for Göztepe, the 22 -year -old Turkish international goalkeeper could finally engage with another Süperlig club (first division). Same thing for striker Bertug Yildirim.
Indeed, while a double transfer seemed to be 48 hours ago with Göztepe, the file experienced several twists and turns. Istanbul Basaksehir is now in pole to recover the two players, even if the agitation of the last days encourages the greatest caution.
Alemdar, under contract until 2027, was Brice Samba’s lining at the start of the season. Yildirim, linked to Rennes until 2028, was to run out of playing time after the arrivals of Breel Embolo and Esteban Lepaul.
Already closed in France, the transfer window ends this Friday, September 12 in Türkiye this Friday.
