Five days after the draw for the C1 league phase, UEFA unveiled the official list of 25 players of 36 teams engaged in the competition on Wednesday. No surprise should be noted in the ranks of PSG. All of the executive players plus the three recruits Lucas Chevalier, Illia Zabarnyi and Renato Marin were selected by coach Luis Enrique, as well as some young people like defender David Boly (16) or goalkeeper Martin James (17).
Presnel Kimpembe, however, is not gone. It is not a surprise because the central defender of 30 years, trained at PSG, is a starting instance for Qatar whose transfer window ends on September 16. Luis Enrique no longer counts on him. Presko has not played the slightest minute with PSG since the resumption of Ligue 1 in August. Last year, the 2018 world champion had only participated in five games: two in L1, two in the French Cup and one in the Champions League during the return dam against Brest.
The European C1 European Champions C1 campaign will start against the Italians of Atalanta Bergame on September 17 at the Parc des Princes. The first 8 of the league phase will qualify directly for the round of 16. The classified training from 9th to 24th place will play a play -off match. The others will be eliminated from all European competitions.
