Johan Johnsson joined Linköping for last year’s season – now the forward is said to be on the way away from the club. Johnsson, who has so far only received playing time in a match, should be set on a foreign adventure, this according to Express.
Johan Johnsson left Oskarshamn for Linköping for last year’s season. During his debut season in Linköping, he played 48 matches and was listed for 10 points (3+7), with a clear role as a fourth center. Linköping has started this season with a win in the first six matches, and has only managed to pick three points.
This season, however, the forward has not come into play in more than one match – something that should have made him look abroad. According to Expressen, the forward should be interested in games in any other league, to get a restart in your career.
Johnsson has made 331 matches in SHL during his career, where he was listed for 67 points (27+40). The 32-year-old has also made 239 matches in HockeyAllsvenskan, where he was listed for 122 points (35+87). Johan Johnsson is educated in HV71, which has also started the 25/26 season. The Jönköpings team has not been able to take a single point in the first six matches in SHL.
