Undeterred, 13-year-old Alina Paris, who also recently took on the role of youth mayor in Norden, showcased her competitive spirit at the U17 federal seal competition in halle.Competing in the up to 48-kilogram weight class, Alina faced formidable opponents. While national associations from the north and west fielded male U17 competitors, the female youth division saw athletes from across Germany vying for supremacy.As one of the youngest in her category, Alina delivered a highly respectable performance against older, more experienced judokas, ultimately earning a commendable seventh-place finish.

Braunschweig JC team Claims Podium Finish

In another significant achievement, the Norder duo, as part of a mixed team representing Braunschweig JC, secured a third-place finish at the state team championship for the U15 age group. This podium success has qualified them for the North German team championship, scheduled to take place in Hamburg on November 15th and 16th. The stakes are high, as a minimum fourth-place finish at this event is required to secure a coveted spot in the German Youth Cup for the U15 category, which will be held on November 29th and 30th.
