WOWOW Inc. (Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO and CEO: Hitoshi Hon, hereinafter referred to as “WOWOW”) is partnering with AMATELUS Co., Ltd. (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; CEO and CEO: Shinya Shimoshiro, hereinafter referred to as “AMATELUS”) to begin efforts to utilize the multi-angle distribution system of “SwipeVideo” operated by AMATELUS. Starting Wednesday, September 24th, 2025, we will begin offering “Nishikori & Alkaras Multi-angle Distribution” at the Kinoshita Group Japan Open Tennis.
This allows you to enjoy a 4-angle multi-angle streaming (live streaming and archive streaming) at the Kinoshita Group Japan Open Tennis, the only official men’s tennis ATP tour match in Japan, the Kinoshita Group Japan Open Tennis, the first in the history of Japan Open. This will be sold and distributed on SwipeVideo, and can be purchased and watched by non-WOW members.
The content to be distributed in multi-angle is played by Nishikori Kei, who made it to the top eight singles last year in six years and made it to the Japan Open tennis tournament for the first time in six years, and C. Alcalas, who won the consecutive championship at the 2025 French Open.
The live WOWOW video was broadcasted in a total of four angles, with three camera angles installed at the venue, Ariake Coliseum. Viewers can enjoy the game by freely switching the angles they want to see, such as angles that continue to show only Nishikori Kei and C. Alkaras. Not only will you discover the new charms of tennis, but you can also enjoy a visual experience that gives you a sense of realism as if you were on the spot.
The selling price is 1,100 yen (tax included) per game, using the purchase method each time.

●Free viewpoint video distribution/multi-angle video distribution technology “SwipeVideo”
SwipeVideo is an internationally patented technology developed and provided by AMATELUS, a streaming system that allows viewers to freely switch their viewpoints on the web or within the app by swiping the screen, allowing viewers to view the images shot with multiple cameras (unlimited number of cameras). This is the world’s first proprietary technology that can distribute free-viewpoint and multi-angle images, which have been considered difficult to stream or play on a browser due to the high video processing and distribution loads.
Additionally, since it only works with web technology (HTML5), viewers do not need to install the app in a hassle, and viewers can switch between video playback (although they are slow, zooming, or stopping) at any time without any stress, allowing viewers to freely switch the viewpoint of the video by simply swiping the screen.
