Mahomes, Worthy & Eagles: NFL Play Breakdown

After their final training of the week, the Kansas City chiefs mentioned that the receiver Xavier Worthy was an uncertain case for the resumption of the Super Bowl final against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.

Worthy is recovering from a dislocation of the shoulder suffered last week after accidental contact with his teammate Travis Kelce.

Worthy progressed in his fitness this week, but he was a limited participant on Friday, even if he captured passes in a second day in a row.

After the training on Friday, coach Andy Reid said that there was a thin chance that Worthy be uniform for the Sunday match, before adding that the second year receiver could do more exercises before the game to continue his healing process.

“He did a little teamwork, but that’s it. He’s fine, ”said Reid.

Worthy has brought additional protection to his right shoulder due to his injury.

Chiefs are already deprived of the Jalen Royals (right knee) and Rashee Rice (suspension) recipients.

If he does not play on Sunday, the chiefs are confident that Worthy is back soon, possibly against the New York giants during week 3.
