Ballacanestro Macherio Benemerita Association: the municipal administration delivers the certificate to association that in 2025 turned off 50 candles. Party on the party at the patronal of Macherio who in the last weekend of August has successfully animated the streets of the center with moments of leisure, flavor and music, altering the moments dedicated to the rites of the religious tradition.
Macherio in celebration with the patronal: civic merit to the basketball company that turns 50
Among the most significant events for the history of the local community there is the attribution of civic merit to a city reality. This year the prize went to Basketball Macherio which reached the half century of history. The association on Sunday 31 August was awarded by the Municipality and to receive the plaque was President Eugenio Verga (also present the head of the sports hall, Paolo Riva).

Thanks Basketball Macherio“: This is the message reported on the plaque that the municipal administration of Macherio has delivered to the partnership thus celebrating an important goal and underlining the value and social role of the local association.
The patronal feast of Macherio represented the special anniversary for the whole community that found itself, together with dozens of visitors, in the heart of the country to attend the events promoted by the Municipality and the Parish.

Events that, unfortunately, on the final day of Monday 1 September, were partly canceled due to the weather forecast adverse. In particularwas reluctantly the expected fireworks display canceled which as a tradition closes the patronal by recalling hundreds of people. No to the fireworks on Monday evening and not even the tribute concert in Ligabue and the Carbonara Festival, as official by the various organizers.
