Fansnerazzurri.com-Inter Milan’s new recruit, Luis Henrique, appeared for 25 minutes in a 2-1 victory over Sassuolo at San Siro. The Brazilian player came in replacing Denzel Dumfries in the 65th minute, in a match won by Nerazzurri through Federico Dimarco’s goal and an own goal by the deflection of Carlos Augusto’s kick.

Henrique, who was brought in from Marseille this summer, was satisfied with his first chance in Serie A. “I am very happy, I work hard to get this minute of playing,” said to DAZN.

Although Sassuolo had pressed in the final minutes, Henrique assessed that full points were the most important thing. “We slow down after their goal, but the most important thing is to get three points,” he added.

When asked about the favorite position, Henrique chose to be modest. “For me, the important thing is to play. I focus on giving the best,” he explained. He also mentioned the main message from coach Cristian Chivu. “He asked me to look for one on one situation and send a cross to the penalty box,” he said.

The 23 -year -old winger said he was happy to be adapting quickly in the Inter dressing room. “This group is very good, I’m happy. We are familiar in the dressing room and all players give me support,” he said.

Henrique added that Inter is a high quality team. “Last season they had the opportunity to win many trophies,” he said. He also did not forget to pay homage to his former club, Marseille. “It’s a team that is close to my heart. I have a lot of friends there, I will always be their fans,” the lid.

Luis Henrique joined Inter last June with a five -year contract. The Nerazzurri paid Marseille of € 25 million plus a bonus of € 3 million for the winger.
