In Anders Grönlund’s debut for AIK, it became unnecessarily exciting – and lots of goals.
It was the former SSK forward Ludvig Blomstrand that scored three goals against Södertälje on Wednesday in AIK’s 5-4 victory.

Ludvig Blomstrand, 32, is a recognized large point picker in HockeyAllsvenskan. During his nine seasons in HockeyAllsvenskan, he has scored 212 points in 321 matches.
After doing four and a half years in Södertälje during two different victories, he switched to Nybro Vikings last season. There were 31 points in 39 matches. But this year it was instead a move to AIK.
AIK victory after crucial goals in extension
Against Södertälje, he scored three goals when AIK first turned a large 4-1 lead. Of the first four goals, he stood for three and Daniel Ljungman for one. However, it would be followed by a substantial collapse from AIK. They were forced into extension after SSK picked up and acknowledged 4-4.
There, Daniel Ljungman finally managed to decide with the last goal and the final result in 5-4 to AIK.
The match was also special for the reason that former Swedish champion Anders Grönlund debuted for AIK.
