Injury: Kelce takes guilt
NFL star Travis Kelce takes the injury of his teammate Xavier Worthy on his cap. There is “no excuse”.
The three-time Super Bowl winner Travis Kelce took the injury to his teammate Xavier Worthy on his cap.
“I have to do better,” said the Tight End of the Kansas City Chiefs in his football podcast “New Heights”, there is “no excuse” for his mistake.
“I’ve been in the league for 13 years. There is no excuse for running into my own boys,” said pop star Taylor Swift’s fiance. Kelce collided with Worthy at the opening of the Los Angeles Chargers (21:27) with Worthy, who had taken another walk.
Worthy cannot continue to play after collision
Wide Receiver Worthy suffered an injury to the right shoulder and could not continue playing. It is still unclear whether he will be available on Sunday for the new edition of the Super Bowl duel against Master Philadelphia Eagles.
“I joined one of my boys and took him out of the game,” said Kelce: “I literally took out one of my players. This is one of the most frustrating aspects, and it is difficult to get going again when you know that you have just injured someone.”
Kelce also admitted that Worthys had changed the course of the game early. “He is one of our best players. He will take the step into one of the best wide receivers of the NFL,” he said.
