Unable to find an agreement with PSG to keep Randal Kolo Muani, Juventus fell back on two other attackers, at the end of the transfer window on Monday. The Turin club has offered the Kosovar Edon Zhegrova and the Belgian Loïs Openda, from Lille and Leipzig respectively.
“Juventus announces that it has reached an agreement with the Lille club for the final acquisition of Edon Zhegrova for the sum of 14.3 million euros, payable in four times,” the most successful football club said in a statement.
Zhegrova, 26, has signed up with Juve until June 2030. He had been playing since 2021 in Lille where he scored 17 goals and distilled eleven assists in 80 championship matches.

But last season, the Kosovar winger was disrupted by a pubalgia that stopped him from mid-December. Zhegrova is the second Lille player to join Juve this summer after Canadian international Jonathan David, at the end of the contract with LOSC.
For its part, Openda, 25, joined Juve in the form of a loan of a season, accompanied by an option to purchase an amount of 40 million euros. The striker has registered for Leipzig 33 goals in 69 Bundesliga games since his arrival in July 2023. But it was with Lens, the season before, that the Belgian international proved to be at the highest European level with his 21 goals in 38 games of Ligue 1 in 2022-23.

Juventus, which finished in 4th place in the last championship, was originally hoping to extend the loan of the French international Randal Kolo Muani, who arrived last January.
The 2022 world vice-champion scored eight goals in sixteen league games after having managed a thunderous beginning with five goals in his first three games with Juve.
But the negotiations with Paris SG which had spent 95 million euros for the unhappy hero of the final of the 2022 World Cup lost against Argentina, did not succeed and “RKM” joined this Monday, on loan, Tottenham.
Juve, trained by Igor Tudor, won its first two games of the season and shares first place with the defending champion Naples (6 points). She also announced that she had loaned the Argentinian striker Nico Gonzalez, arrived in July 2024, at Atletico Madrid, ready with an option to buy at EUR 32 million.
