What the MPRJ says
“The Public Prosecution Service of the State of Rio de Janeiro (MPRJ), through the Specialized Sports and Defense Group of the fan (Gaedest/MPRJ) and the 4th Prosecutor of Collective Guardianship and Consumer Protection and the Taxpayer, obtained the judicial decision that determines the removal of Flamengo’s young fans from all sports events for two years, a measure that reaches its members and members.
The performance of the MPRJ originated in public civil action, based on successive episodes of violence and disorder practiced by members of the organized fans since 2015. In 2021, judgment had already determined the removal of the fans for three years, in addition to the payment of compensation for collective moral damage. In 2025, after negotiations mediated by the MPRJ, a Conduct Adjustment Agreement (TAC) was entered into with Flamengo’s Young Cheerleader, presented for approval by the fan court. The goal was to establish behavior commitments and rules for the gradual return of the fans to the stadiums.
However, new reports from the Specialized Stadium Policing Battalion (BEPE) have recorded repeated episodes of violence and crimes. Invasions were reported at Supervia stations and collectives, riots and physical aggressions on public roads, robberies in the interior of Maracanã and aggressions to rival fans, with occurrences recorded in Maracanã, Copacabana, Niterói and Cidade de Deus. Given the severity of the facts and the risk of safety of the community, the MPRJ requested the suspension of TAC analysis and the fixation of a new period of removal.
Justice also determined the sending of CERS OF BEPE on recent cases that reported death and serious injuries involving Vasco’s young forces of Vasco and Fury and Youth of Botafogo, for analysis of the MPRJ in the procedures signed with these associations“.
