At the end of a practically always guided final, but still very rich in uncertainty, the Orange team beats Italy for 5-6 in the last act. The coup de Rotterdam of 2012 is not repeated, but it still remains an important signal, that given by the team of the manager Francisco Cervelli: The practically immediate return to high levels and the ability to put a team more in difficulty more than ever with the possibility of having the friendly public behind.
Italy starts with Matteo Bocchi as a pitcher, but it is the Dutch who immediately took the lead with two singles-Penunciations of Clementina and Profar, who immediately make Rotterdam’s audience exult.
